With the increase in globalization over recent years, media attention has focused more and more on the role of business in society. Concerns over global warming, the destruction of rainforests, child labour and corporate fraud have led to increased demands on industry to clean up its act and to take a higher moral ground. How can firms develop socially responsible strategies? How can CSR sustain a firms competitive advantage?

Activities:

The residential week at Audencia will provide participants with an overview of how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can be incorporated into business strategy. Participants will see how CSR can be incorporated into human resource policies, into corporate governance, into shareholder engagement as well as ethical investment strategies.
