Business Life Cycle
Goals:
As organisations grow, new internal and external pressures emerge. Young organisations face very different challenges to mature organisations. Successful firms must be aware of these challenges. Their manager need to understand the processes that surround them, why they emerge, when they will emerge and how best to respond to them.
Activities:
The residential week at EADA focuses on the different issues firms face when they grow. Commonly known as the business life cycle, participants will study the early activities of entrepreneurs as they try to establish themselves. However, as firms grow, the manager will face the challenge of growth itself, as well as that of consolidation. Moreover, participants will see that once maturity has been reached, firms must find means to revitalize themselves if they are to survive in the future.
