Goals:
The increasingly competitive nature of business puts managers under pressure to adapt and to meet new market demands. Failure to innovate can potentially lead to failure. On the other hand, innovation can drain the resources of a firm and lead to inefficiencies within the organization. The manager of today must learn how to innovate effectively, and thus ensure the sustainable competitive advantage of the company.
Activities:
The residential week at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management addresses a comprehensive understanding of innovation for corporations and industries as well as knowledge about the creation of ideas. Participants will look at innovation creation and implementation as well as the acquisition and outsourcing of innovation.
